Family constellations

A therapeutic practice which facilitates inter-generational healing. It offers an alternative perspective as to why an individual may be suffering, showing them that their feelings may have their origins within a past family trauma.

About me

Hi there,

I am now using my experiences and insights to support and guide others to heal from past wounds, to accept themselves as they are and to unlock their unique potential.

Tim was so professional and kind. He had a very encouraging and non-judgemental way of listening and discussing with me. He is very warm and easy to talk to. He made me feel genuinely heard and respected.

Tim has a laidback and personable approach which made me feel really at ease and comfortable with sharing my thoughts, but was also totally professional throughout our sessions which made me feel like I could trust him and he knew how to help. It was less prescriptive than previous therapy I’ve engaged with and made me feel empowered to use my own tools and reach a place where I felt encouraged and more confident in my own skills to manage my mental health and wellbeing.

Tim’s approach to counselling felt so brilliantly balanced. The whole year I spent with them felt very collaborative and I felt supported and challenged in just the right amounts. I feel that Tim’s listening skills are so good, and I always felt validated in the way I was feeling, and able to feel more in control of the complex emotions I was experiencing. Tim has many different approaches and techniques that we explored, all being offered as a choices that I could explore when it felt right.

Our concept of traumaContinue reading “Trauma and post-traumatic stress: A rare phenomena or a universal human experience?”

The Art of Letting Go: Why we fail to process our emotions and what to do about it

One of the most common themes I have noticed since working as a counsellor and a mentor relates to how difficult people find it to fully acknowledge and process their emotions. I believe this to be a widespread problem in modern society, with roots not only in our system of education but also in ourContinue reading “The Art of Letting Go: Why we fail to process our emotions and what to do about it”
